Telangana employees are a happy lot with chief minister and leader of the house K Chandrasekhar Rao announcing the much prolonged firmer pegged at 30 percent. He also informed the house that the retirement age limit for the employees was also increased by 3 years.This will be effective from coming April 1 the chief minister declared even as the members of the treasury benches hit on the tables in awe and happiness.In the house the chief minister announced amid applause of the members that the government has taken a decision to provide hike in fitment.
The state government taken a decision to offer 30 percent of the fitment as part of pay revision commission recommendations for employees, he stared. The chief minister stated that he is happy to announce a good news to the state employees of 30 percent fitment and 61 years of age limit.
Employees play a key role in state development and we discussed salary hike with them he said.
The PRC increase will be offered to to all employees including staff, officials, outsourcing, contract, Aasha, Anganwadi, Vidya volunteers, sarva shiksha abhiyan, women staff, home guards and others as per norms.Other decisions KCR informed the house that the government will start inter district transfers to couples of employees and teachers to work in the sane district. Necessary steps to be taken through transfers in this regard he said.He said that the government will give orders to send teachers to AP, repatriate its employees from that state and give 6 months of maternity leave with salary to KGBVs women teachers.Family pension scheme to kin of deceased employees of CCS through a committe he said. It was decided to hike salary to outsourcing staff.
Earlier the KCR Government has promised to give a satisfied hike of the fitment which was said about 29 percent.Before the MLC polls for graduate seats KCR has reportedly informed to a delegation of the employees association of getting around 29 percent.The employees hoped that they may get better fitment around 29 percent and 3 years rise in retirement age limit to 61 years in addition to other benefits.Telangana employees who are around 9,17,797 are to get increased fitment, and other benefits, which is better than their AP counterparts.Of course it is better than the AP government which offered 27 percent.
