The first activity for the Interns under SHIP-2018 was conducted this morning at Charminar where all the interns along with the GHMC officials participated in the cleanup drive in the surrounding lanes of Charminar.
The activity has drawn a huge positive response, where about “300 Interns” enthusiastically participated making the event a grand success. The total waste collected was approximately 50 bags each weighing around 6 to 7 kg totalling 350 kg among which 53 kg of Plastic waste was collected in the span of two hours.
