Congress party MP A.Revanth Reddy today said that the agriculture Act enacted by the central government would cause losses to the farmers of the country and the state. He said that the Party had decided one crore signature campaign to protest against the enactment the Act. He made these remarks while addressing a gathering as part of the signature drive held at Shapur Nagar.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the agriculture Act would help the corporate companies of the country. He demanded the Central Government to withdraw the Act as it was enacted without consulting the farmers organisations of the country. He said that they would collect 1 crore signatures of the farmers of the country and submit a representation to the central government and the president of India demanding them to take steps for the withdrawal of the controversial Acts.
