The CBSE State Level Conference (Delhi Region) on the theme Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN) to commemorate India’s Presidency of G 20 was held at Lovely Public School, Priyadarshini Vihar, Delhi on 15th June 2023. The highly enriching and empowering conference was organized by CBSE in collaboration with Indraprastha Schools Sahodaya and Delhi Sahodaya Schools Complex, the conference aimed to promote educational development through National Educational Policy and commemorate India’s G20 Presidency.
The conference commenced with a grand inauguration ceremony featuring an insightful welcome address by Ms. Jyoti Arora, the President of Indraprastha Sahodaya. Highly eminent Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, President ICCR, and former chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth, and Sports, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, the esteemed Director (Academics) of CBSE, delivered a captivating keynote address, emphasizing the role of education in India’s journey to becoming a superpower.
Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to attend parallel sessions tailored to their specific needs, engaging in discussions on FLN, NEP 2020, and G20. The conference also featured thought-provoking performances such as a powerful Nukkad Natak on India’s G20 Presidency and an enthralling Mime Act Presentation on NEP 2020.
The conference witnessed the presence of Over 700 participants including School principals, educators, and student and fostered networking and collaboration among education professionals, policymakers, and students. A vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas and best practices was provided through the conference.
The valedictory session was graced by Dr S.D.Malik Founder Lovely Public School & Sri Sri Niwas Sharma, Founder & Chief Scout of Hindustan Scouts and Guides, adding a sense of significance and accomplishment to the event.
The conference concluded with a comprehensive report presented by Dr. CB Mishra, General Secretary of Indraprastha School Sahodaya, and a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Alka Kapur, President of Delhi Sahodaya School.
