Dana Kishore, District Election Officer and Commissioner GHMC, today directed all the Booth Level officers and Supervisory officers to report Immediately to EROs whenever EROS direct them to report without fail. Failing which disciplinary action will be taken against them as per RP Act and also will be viewed seriously. Every BLO must be available in their allotted Polling Station along with Supervisory officer from September 10 with Electoral Rolls until further orders and must interact with the concerned EROs immediately.
M Dana Kishore directed all the EROs to impart training to all Booth Level officers, Supervisors as per the guidelines of ECI that how to perform the duties while taking up Deletions in the Electoral Rolls. ERO’s should personally monitor the process of entire Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls. He also directed all ZC’S EROs AEROs to furnish the details of Exact Duplicates,Doubtful, Not Matching names in the Electoral Rolls so as to have a clear Transparency while taking up deletions etc.
He also directed the AC Elections to deploy 200 efficient Officials for the Revision of Electoral Rolls process purpose in coordination with AC Admn and see that ten officers be posted in Each Constituency and they will assist ERO’S and act as AERO’s until further orders. He directed all ZC’S ERO’S to make the Supervisory officers ABC categories and take preference for A category and Importance be given to Bill collectors Tax Inspectors Section officers rather than Jr Asst etc. He also directed all the EROs to personally inspect all the Polling stations of their respective Circles and report compliance of distance of each Polling station so as to prepare an action plan foe effective working.
