BJP cheated Telangana people : Harish Rao

Harish Rao

Upping the ante against the BJP leaders for their rhetoric on the ruling party on development, Finance Minister, T Harish Rao today accused the saffron party of cheating Telangana people.

He urged Dubbaka people to reject the opposition parties in the by polls as they come to segment only during the elections.

Harish Rao conducted a poll campaign at Appannapally in Dubbaka segment with the TRS candidate Sujatha and appealed people to elect her for more development.

The BJP has totally deceived Telangana people and they cannot ask for votes in Dubbaka polls. Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has affection on the segment while the BJP and the Congress are of no use.  The BJP is talking to set up motors at farm wells and collect power bills. While the TRS government under KCR leadership offers 24 hours free power to farmers.

So do we need these motors or free power he asked the gathering and decide to whom they vote for. Besides that the KCR government offering Rs 10,000 per acre to each farmer and it is only done by KCR as no where else in the country, he claimed.

KCR government also offers Rs 5 lakhs ex-gratia to the kin if the farmers die of any reason the minister clarified. These two national parties are coming in the way of development and you cannot trust them for duping always. KCR has achieved Telangana and taken up several welfare schemes like no other states.

The BJP regime at the centre is not giving financial support to state development, he charged. Despite many reminders Modi government has ignored to accord national status to our irrigation projects.

We have been seeking the same for either Kakeshwaram or PalamurRanga Reddy projects and the Modi government is unready to head to our requirements,  he fumed.

Harish Rao also hit out at the Congress leaders like Utham Kumar Reddy and others for making vague charges. He asked whether the Congress ruling states offer rythubandhu and rythubhima schemes being implemented in Telangana.

The people in Dubbaka will vote for the TRS to continue legacy of late Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy who vouched for continuous development he added.
