Asset Distribution to Tribal Entrepreneurs

Hon’ble Ministers Sri KTR, Sri Mahamood Ali and Smt. Satyavathi Rathod distributed assets to 73 tribal entrepreneurs worth Rs. 36.50 Cr. Out of the total worth of the units an amount of Rs. 14.29 Cr has been contributed by the Tribal Welfare Department (TRICOR) of Telangana as subsidy while an amount of Rs. 18.80 has been contributed by the Banks. The remaining amount of Rs. 3.41 Cr has been borne by the beneficiaries. The programme has been held today in Sevalal Banjara Bhavan, Road No. 10, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.  

Participating in the programme as Chief Guest Sri KTR, Hon’ble Minister for ITE & C, MA & UD and Industries & Commerce, said that Hon’ble CM of our State announced this scheme CM ST Entrepreneurship & Innovation which is unparallel in the country. It is giving us immense happy to see our tribal youths not fighting for Government jobs but are generating many jobs to other jobless skilled people. The Hon’ble Minister also promised to extend help to the entrepreneurs at any stage of their journey through their units.

The programme was presided by Sri Danam Nagender Garu, Hon’ble M.L.A., Khairatabad and Sri MD Mahamood Ali Garu, Hon’ble Minister for Home, Prisons and Fire Services, participated as Guest of Honour. Both said that the State Government is committed to the overall development of all sections of society in Telangana.

Smt. Satyavathi Rathod Garu, Hon’ble Minister for ST Welfare, Women & Child Welfare, said that the scheme was inaugurated and ever since the scheme is recording laudable progress fulfilling the confidence of tribal youths to realise their dreams of establishing their own firms of business. She also explained about other schemes like ST Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Farmer Produce Organisations and Rural Transport Plan.
