One more Petition was filed on the deaths of several people in Ruya hospitals of the town in the high court of the State . TDP leader PR Mohan filed the petition in the issue.
In his petition , he alleged that the state government had misled the state by claiming only 11 people died at the hospital due to lack of oxygen as against 36 people.
Advocate Yalamanchili Balaji argued the case on behalf of Mohan. He told the court that the police had not registered an FIR in the incident even after receiving a complaint . He said that the Covid victims due to the non supply of the oxygen on time. He urged the court to issue directions to the state government to file a case against all the accused of the incident. He also urged the court to order a judicial inquiry into the incident.
He also told the HC that the state government had not set up the five oxygen plants sanctioned by the central government. Responding to the Petition, the HC issued notices to the Tirupathi SP, state and central governments. It later adjourned the matter till the completion of the summer vacation.
