Women Should Use Shakti App For Their Safety: Chandra Babu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has warned that those who raped girls and women would no longer be able to escape the clutches of law.

He wished that there should be an atmosphere free of communal hatred in the State. He made it clear that there can be no rowdies in the State and added that it was not possible to escape by rowdyism.

He reminded that land disputes as well as land grabbing were terrible and added that there were special laws on the land grabbing issue and added that they were being implemented by Gujarat State. CM Chandrababu Naidu said strict laws were being brought to punish those indulging in the land grabbing issue.

Speaking in the assembly on Tuesday, CM Chandrababu explained that he too was in a hurry for elections and did not understand the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy. “Despite the presence of Home Minister, top officials and DGP, YS Viveka’s murder was not solved. “We all thought of a heart attack at first,” he said and added that there was no politics of murder in his political career.

He said they had launched Shakti App for the safety of the girls and women of the State and added that the women would have to shake it thrice to get it activated. “The police will come to you in six to nine minutes and rescue you.

The police should be vigilant. Otherwise, action will be taken against them,” he warned. Stating that in the past, the app was called Disha App, he said it had become a formidable app now while noting that the Shakti app is a 100 per cent functional app.
