DMK President MK Stalin has said, the circumstances leading to the death of late chief minister and AIADMK leader J Jayalalithaa would be probed when his party comes to power. Addressing an election rally at Madurai in support of his coalition CPI (M) candidate, he said the cause of Jayalalithaa’s death still remains a mystery.
He said when the other chief ministers like CN Annadurai were hospitalized in critical conditions, competent authorities and health ministers used to give information to the public regularly about their state of health.
He charged that during Jayalalithaa’s hospitalization, even senior ministers were denied access to her, adding, they were still making false claims. He said India is back by 45 years in terms of development after the NDA came to power, adding unemployment is at its peak now.
