Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today informed his party members of parliament through teleconference that there is no point in supporting the YSRCP, which has just 5 MPs, in its no-trust move against the BJP-backed NDA government.
He said, “TDP has a strength of 16 MPs. With the help of other friendly opposition parties we ourselves can initiate a no-confidence motion.”
In this connection, he said he is already in talks with a host of leaders of other parties and with their help TDP will take appropriate steps.
Meanwhile, TDP MPs are expected to hold discussions with Trinamul Congress MPs and then take a decision regarding the YSRCP’s no-trust motion.
