Taking a jibe at the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Siliguri rally she has put speed breaker in the path development of more than 70 lakh of farmer families in West Bengal. Prime Minister said, his government never committed the sin of betraying farmers. Mr. Modi said, his government introduced mechanism from seed to market and implemented PM KISAN scheme.
Commenting on Congress manifesto Mr Modi said, it should be called hypocrisy document, not a manifesto. Meanwhile, campaigning has gained momentum in the areas where polling will be held in the first and second phase.
