We did not meet secretly, says Anirudh Reddy

The leadership of the Congress party is currently investigating the reasons for their division and the identities of the attendees at the meeting.

In the meantime, Anirudh Reddy, the MLA from Jadcharla, has acknowledged that while ruling party MLAs did convene, it was not in a clandestine manner.

In an interview with a news channel, the Congress MLA stated that they addressed various issues and challenges arising from the State administration during their discussion.

“It is entirely appropriate for MLAs to come together to deliberate on development matters pertinent to their constituencies. Our meeting was not held in secrecy,” asserted Anirudh Reddy.

He further stated that there are lot of issues to bring to the notice of the Congress leadership and he will disclose everything and tell all the details after meeting with AICC Telangana In-charge Deepa Das Munshi.

Responding to the remarks made by few Congress leaders against him, Anirudh Reddy said,” I will not be complacent if my character is portrayed incorrectly. I will talk to the Congress leadership with all the evidence,”.

He further stated that they are not the ones who do such broker business and the MLAs have discussed only their issues.

The Congress MLA said that he didn’t put any file with Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Congress MP Mallu Ravi should tell the facts that which file I have recommended.
