Vijayshanthi left TRS on her own: Kavitha

Nizamabad MP Kavitha today criticized Congress leader Vijayashanthi for adopting dual standards and making comments on the TRS leadership. She rejected Vijayashanti’s comments as baseless during the Congress campaign that KCR deceived her and will cheat the people again if voted to power in the elections.

Kavitha said the actor-turned-politician was making cheap comments against the TRS. She also said there was no iota of truth in the comments that Vijayashanthi was shown the door only for Kavitha, KTR and others in the party. Kavita also said Congress leader DK Aruna was making mean comments against the TRS leadership. Kavitha also said Vijayashanthi has no right to comment on the TRS leadership as she quit the party to join the Congress and was defeated in Medak. The people will not care for her comments, she opined.

Kavitha clarified that the TRS did not suspend Vijayashanti from the party but she herself quit the party. Vijayashanthi spoke in favour of the TRS before getting ticket and talking against after the elections. She joined the Congress by receiving a shawl from AICC leader Digvijay Singh, she recalled. Instead of standing in support of TRS Chief KCR, Vijayashanthi left the TRS unmindful of general secretary post. Kavitha also said the Centre has failed to keep the bifurcation promises so far.

Kavitha also refuted rumors and false campaigning that the TRS chief has sidelined Harish Rao for according priority to his son KTR to make him next chief minister. These are misguiding propaganda for cheap publicity and KCR word is final in the party which has no groups she clarified. The party decision is final whether to have a woman in the cabinet and we have no comments on that she added.
