Telugu film industry’s first generation actress and producer Krishnaveni Samsmarana Sabha was held today at Filmnagar Cultural Club in Hyderabad Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu attended the event.
Venkaiah Naidu expressed his dissatisfaction with the trends of the film industry in the country. Directors wanted to change the style of hero roles in movies.
He expressed concern that once a good message was sent to the people through movies, now smugglers, traitors and people who follow wrong policies in the society are being made into hero roles.
He said that this is not a good method and the directors should think about what kind of message this is sending.
He expressed concern that bad deeds should never be glorified, as this would have an impact on the children. Venkaiah Naidu wished that the film industry should be a responsible medium.
