Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar will visit Karimnagar on Friday.
The Union Minister will reach Shamshabad Airport in Hyderabad at 9.30 AM. He will be received a warm welcome by State Ministers Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar.
From there, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, along with Ponguleti and Ponnam, will reach the Sports School in Karimnagar in a special helicopter.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar will give a grand welcome to Khattar there.
Later, Khattar will go directly to the R&B Guest House with Bandi Sanjay and will receive a police salute there.
Later, the Union Minister along with State Ministers, will reach Telangana Chowk at 11 AM and inaugurate the park works undertaken at the Multipurpose School at a cost of Rs. 8.2 crore. From there, he will proceed to the Dr. BR Ambedkar Stadium and inaugurate the sports complex and associated works built at a cost of Rs. 22 crore.
From there, they will go to the Housing Board Colony, where the Union Minister will launch a historic programme to supply clean water throughout the day in the Housing Board Colony under the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation.
A total of 2,660 houses in the Housing Board Colony will be supplied with drinking water for 24 hours every day. Till now, only one or two towns in the country have been supplying drinking water for 24 hours recently.
All the uninterrupted water supply works undertaken at a cost of Rs. 18 crores have been completed. With this, Karimnagar Corporation is going to get the credit of providing drinking water to the most households in the Telugu states for 365 days.
After the programme, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will reach Kummarwadi High School and inaugurate a smart digital classroom.
Later, he will participate in a public meeting to be held at the Housing Board Colony.
After the public meeting, Manohar Lal Khattar will directly visit the dump yard on the Karimnagar bypass road. From there, he will directly reach the helipad and go to Hyderabad.
Manohar Lal Khattar will reach Begumpet Airport at 4 PM. Before leaving for Delhi, he will review with officials of State electricity and Municipal departments.
