Two more districts have been notified in Telangana, taking the total number of districts in the state to 33. Government orders have been issued to this effect yesterday. The new Districts, Narayanpet with 11 blocks and Mulug with 9 blocks will come into existence from today onwards.
State Special Chief Secretary Rajeswar Tiwari issued orders to this effect. It may be recalled that the state Government has re-organized the ten old districts into 31 districts a couple of years ago. Now, the two districts have been created keeping in view public demand.
