AP is ranked 1st in egg production, 5th in meat production, and 7th in milk production in the country. With over 11.23% of AP’s GSDP coming from the livestock sector in 2024-25, our goal is to make AP a global hub for smart and sustainable animal husbandry.
We are now strengthening indigenous breeds, modernizing infrastructure, and training dairy farmers as part of the National Livestock Mission. Our aim is to position AP as a national model for tech-driven rural growth and contribute to the goal of Swarna Andhra Pradesh by 2047.
