Equity benchmarks today lost more than 0.8 per cent in afternoon trade. Domestic indices fell amid mixed global stocks. BSE Sensex was down by 320 points to trade below 38,000 mark at 37,859 a short while ago. The NSE Nifty was also declined 96 points to 11,217. The rupee, at forex market, also weakened marginally by three eight paise to 71 rupees and 11 paise against the US dollar in afternoon deals.
