Minister for IT and Industries Sridhar Babu has personally extended a formal invitation to Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal to attend BioAsia 2025 on February 26 in Hyderabad.
The premier life sciences and healthcare event will bring together global leaders, policymakers and industry experts to drive innovation and collaboration in the sector.
Sridhar Babu called on the Union Minister in New Delhi on Friday and extended the invitation.
Appreciating the efforts of Minister Sridhar Babu to promote lifesciences industry and investments, Piyush Goyal confirmed that he will participate in the event and interact with the global leaders attending the event.
Minister Sridhar Babu also sought the Union government’s support for the establishment of Mega Leather Parks (MLPs) in Telangana in Rukmapur Village (Karimnagar District.) and Station Ghanpur Village, Jangoan District.
The Telangana government has requested for central assistance from the department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) for the development of Mega Leather Parks and their associated infrastructure, including Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs).
Sridhar Babu also briefed the Union Minister about the progress of NICDC Zaheerabad Node and requested for expeditious approvals / release of funds.
Moreover, the Minister personally conveyed Telangana’s confirmation for participation in the Osaka Expo 2025, where the state will showcase its innovation, industrial prowess, and business potential on a global platform.
