Sridhar Babu announces Blockchain City in Telangana

Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu has revealed that a Blockchain city is going to be set up in Telangana. 

He disclosed that consultations have already started with the relevant industries and experts on where and how much area it should be set up.

Sridhar Babu on Friday formally inaugurated the new campus of ‘Centillion Networks and HC Robotics Private Limited’ in Madhapur, which employs around 1,800 people in the field of drone technology and robotics.

“The  State government is formulating and implementing plans to make Telangana number one in the innovation of new technologies.

Similarly, steps are being taken to provide employment to the youth  by providing training in these sectors with the help of Skills University and industries.

The foundation stone will be laid for the AI ​​University in Future City soon. In addition to this, the State government is going to start a Center of Excellence specifically in Quantum Computing,’ he disclosed.

“The Union government is planning to set up a Frontier Technology Hub in the country.

The State government has already requested the Centre to set up that hub in Hyderabad, specifically explaining the advantages of the place.

We hope that the Centre will take a positive decision in this regard,’ Sridhar Babu said.

He stated that the State government is moving forward with the goal of providing effective civil services to the last person.

To achieve this goal, efforts are being made for the extensive use of emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain and others.

The State government is working to provide employment opportunities to the youth by providing special training on drone technology, which has become crucial in recent times, Sridhar Babu explained.
