Six terrorists and nine civilians were killed in raids by security forces on a hideout of Islamic State terror group in Nintavur of the eastern province. A Defence spokesman said, two terrorists were killed in gunfire when security forces raided a safe house of terrorists based on intelligence tipoff.
Four other terrorists were killed when they blew themselves up in a house. Six children and three women also lost their lives in the explosion. Over 20 suspects have been taken into custody in the operations.
