Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar today came down heavily on the ruling Congress party and alleged that the grand old party had made several conspiracies to diminish BR Ambedkar’s history.
He participated in a bike rally with BJP workers in Karimnagar. He cleaned Ambedkar’s statue on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay alleged that the Congress party has a “shameful” history of insulting Ambedkar, who not only enlightened the oppressed sections, but also made India the largest democratic country in the world.
He alleged that the Congress party, which shifted Ambedkar’s body for funeral to Mumbai instead of Delhi, sent bills to Ambedkar’s wife to pay the airfare for the transportation of the body.
He said they were organizing Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations across the country. “As part of this, we are cleaning Ambedkar’s statues to inform future generations about Ambedkar’s great history.
It is to dispel the ignorance within us and make us shine. It is to continue his ideals. Ambedkar was a great man, who brought light in the lives of the oppressed.
He is an intellectual, who devoted his entire life to uproot untouchability and uproot casteism with his fingers. He is a compass for Indian democracy.
Ambedkar is the flag of self-respect of the oppressed. He was born in a very poor Dalit family and went through many ups and downs for food. He was a great man m, who studied by eating only one meal no matter how hungry he was.
He did not stop studying even though he was not allowed to study in a school. He was a great leader who gave 10 years of his life as a loan to the Maharaja of Baroda for higher education.
Ambedkar was a person who strengthened the ideology of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deen Dayal. He opposed the partition of the country and the autonomy of Jammu and Kashmir,” Sanjay recalled .
He claimed that the BJP government was definitely following Ambedkar’s aspirations. “It is the Narendra Modi’s government that has established Panch Tirthas so that future generations can know the history of Ambedkar.
