Singareni Chairman and MD N. Sridhar Today conducted a high level meeting at singareni bhavan in the city with regard to achieve required coal production and transport during not just the ongoing corona lockdown but also during the rainy season by singareni collieries limited.
He instructed the officials to be ready for production and transport of coal once all the industries start functioning. even though singareni was ready to supply coal to power companies, they could not do so as other industries were closed due to lockdown.
He requested that the workers should continue with their job and take strong measures in all areas for prevention of spreading of corona.
Citing that Rainy season is expected to hit the state by second week of June and coronavirus effect is expected to last in the state till the end of July, he said that all necessary steps had been taken so that there was no hindrance in coal production. He suggested that during these times they would have to go forward in a very planned manner.
Sridhar also suggested that all plans have to be kept ready to ensure that the singareni company runs smoothly even in these difficult times.
He held detailed meeting with all officials with regard to production mine wise, removal of over burden and coal transport.
