Veteran Telugu actor and industry legend Devadas Kanakala has passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad today. The senior actor has been unwell for a few days now. Devadas Kanakala was born in Yanam on 30th July in 1945. He made his debut with the film ‘O Seetha Katha’ in 1974 and acted in several films. Devadas Kanakala also established a school for acting and trained many stars under him.
Recently, he lost his wife Lakshmi Kanakala and is survived by his daughter, son. Tollywood famous character artist Rajeev Kanakala is the son of Devadas Kanakala. He was last seen in Mahesh Babu’s movie ‘Bharat Ane Nenu.’ Tollywood celebrities and politicians have mourned the death of veteran Telugu actor and director Devadas Kanakala.
