Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader and three-time legislator from Karwan Assembly constituency, Baddam Bal Reddy, who was admitted in Care Hospital, Banjara Hills, passed away on Saturday. He was 73. Reddy has represented the Karwan assembly constituency in Hyderabad for three terms – 1985, 1989 and 1994.
He worked hard in strengthening the BJP in old city. In the recent Telangana Assembly elections, he contested from Rajendranagar. BJP leaders Dr. K. Laxman, Bandaru Dattatrya, Kishan Reddy and MLA Raja Singh arrived at Hospital to pay homage to his body.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed his condolences on the demise of former MLA Baddam Bal Reddy. He conveyed his heart-felt condolences to the members of bereaved family. The CM recalled services rendered by Balreddy in public life.Family sources said the BJP leader’s cremation will conclude at Mahaprasthanam in BanjaraHills on Sunday evening at 5 pm.
