Hyderabad: The Central Crime Station police arrested 12 more persons in connection with a GHMC scam in which contractors had submitted fake and fabricated bills to claim lakhs of GHMC funds illegally. In April, the GHMC Central Zone officials had identified 27 contractors who attempted to cheat the civic body of Rs 1.8 crore and booked them on criminal charges.Later, Mr Mohan Singh Rathod, superintendent engineer, lodged a complaint with CCS seeking investigation.
