Tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik were blessed with son on Tuesday, it was confirmed by the new father on Twitter. “Excited to announce: It’s a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled. #BabyMirzaMalik,” he wrote on Twitter.
It was confirmed by the Mirza camp that both the tennis player and the newborn are doing fine. Sania, who took a break, has not played this year. She has clarified that she is aiming to be back on court for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
