Silk Mark Awareness on Indian Natural Silk
Silk Mark Organisation of India Initiated by Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Hyderabad chapter organised a programme to create awareness on importance of quality and tradition of Indian Natural Silks at Jubilee hills.
On the occasion, Silk Mark Organisation of India introduce Y. Sailaja Reddy who is one of the winner of Srimathi Silk Mark-2018, Hyderabad as a SILK MARK BRAND AMBASSADOR for Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States to promote the all varieties of Silk Cluster Products. She is already Promoting Pochampally Handloom Weaving Cluster and working with Telangana State Handloom Department.
Socilaites graced the occasion and congratulated the Sailaja reddy.
According to Y. Srinivasa Rao, Deputy Director, Central Silk Board, said that Part of the awareness, Silk Mark Organisation,Hyderabad chapter every year conducting Silk Mark Expos, all varieties of Silks from different Silk weaving clusters in India and Beauty Pageant Srimathi Silk Mark.
Proposed to conduct 6th grand edition of Srimathi Silk Mark and Silk Mark Expos in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam especially crafted and designed for Indian Culture and Traditional Values depicting the “Glimpses of Indian Silks spreading the awareness on Silk. And also Educating Women to Identify Pure Silks and encourage to wear Indian traditional attire”he says.
