Rs.15,000 crore for world-class infrastructure in Hyderabad: Sridhar Babu

Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu has articulated that the State government is investing Rs. 15,000 crore to enhance the infrastructure of Hyderabad significantly.

During the grand inauguration of Microsoft’s state-of-the-art campus in Gachibowli on Thursday, Minister Sridhar Babu, alongside Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, introduced an ambitious roadmap designed to transform the urban landscape and bolster the technological supremacy of Hyderabad.

“This investment is not merely focused on infrastructure enhancement; it aims to reconfigure Hyderabad into one of the most advanced and future-ready cities globally, under the guidance of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy,” the Minister asserted.

He emphasised that this transformation represents a strategic infrastructure revolution intended to elevate Hyderabad’s standing on the world stage, which includes the expansion of the Metro Rail and Regional Ring Road, the Future City and AI City initiatives, the establishment of Young India Skills University, the EV Manufacturing Hub, advancements in Quantum Engineering and Bioinformatics, and the rejuvenation of the Musi River.

“This is a future-driven masterplan designed to enhance quality of life, accelerate economic growth, and attract global investments,” Sridhar Babu said.
