A Royal Bengal tiger named Prabhas was adopted by Ravi Venkataramanan, C.E.O, M/s Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited for a period of one year. Deepak Raj, on behalf of Sri Ravi Venkataramanan, C.E.O, M/s Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited presented a cheque of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) to Smt. A. Nagamani, Dy. Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion Smt. A. Nagamani, Dy. Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad thanked Sri Ravi Venkataramanan, C.E.O, M/s Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited, Hyderabad and Sri Deepak Raj for showing keen interest in adopting a male Royal Bengal Tiger for the period of one year, their by strengthening the Wildlife Conservation Programme in the Zoo Park. She also expressed that their commitment in conservation of wild animals is an inspiration to many and hoped that more citizens will come forward for adoption of animals in Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad during this COVID -19/Pandemic period.
