RGSYCC ovserves 30th death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi

The Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra Commemoration Committee (RGSYCC) today observed the 30th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi at Charminar. Rajiv Gandhi started from historic Charminar his Sadbhavana Yatra in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad on 19th October 1990.
In view of the lockdown, the program was conducted with limited members, following all the Covid norms.
Speaking on the occasion, G. Niranjan, Chairman of the Commemoration Committee, who garlanded the portrait of  Rajiv  Gandhi the Country will always remember the changes initiated by Rajiv, during his short period in politics, for the development and to strengthen the democratic fabric of this country. 
Granting voting rights at the age of 18, providing funds directly to the gram panchayaths and local bodies by initiating steps for changes in the Act, revolution in technology and telecommunications which resulted into the extension of these services to the remote areas are some of the initiatives made by Late Sri Rajiv Gandhi, he said.
While striving hard for the development, unity and integrity, and to make this country free from terrorism, he lost his life at a young age and martyred for the country. His Martyrdom should not go wasted.
He said now the Country is under the grip and command of selfish political forces and people are suffering under the cloud of Corona, the people should move together with wisdom and consciousness, in order to save themselves from Corona pandemic and also to save the country from the clutches of selfish political forces.
As per the directions of AICC and PCC, 300 kits of different fruits, biscuits, juice and eggs were handed over to Dr Nagamani, Superintendent and Shaik Osman, Supevisor of Government Maternity Hospital, Petlaburuz by Sri G.Kannaiahlal. Sri G.Dinesh and Sri P.Rajesh Kumar on behalf of Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra Commemoration Committee  to distribute among the women admitted in the Hospital. 60 kits were distributed to the women admitted in Surajbhan hospital, Shalibanda. 
PCC Secretaries, Syed Yousuf Hashmi, Sri G.Kannaiahlal, PCC Election Commission Coordination Committee Member Sri P.Rajesh Kumar , Congress Leader Mujahid, Moosa Khasim, G.Dinesh and Manohar were also present on this occasion.
