Revanth govt providing support to MIM party meeting: Bandi Sanjay

Bandi Sanjay Kumar

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar today made sensational comments on Waqf lands and National Herald assets case. He alleged that the Revanth Reddy government was providing financial support to the public meeting that the Majlis Party was going to organize in Hyderabad against the Waqf Board Amendment Act.

He said they were conspiring to cause riots in the name of meetings, conferences and agitations. He expressed concern that if the meeting happens, West Bengal-like situation would arise in Hyderabad. He warned that there was a need to curb it immediately and added the Revanth Reddy government would have to be held responsible for the consequences that would happen.

Bandi Sanjay questioned as to what the BJP has to do with the National Herald case? “The duplicate Gandhi family conspired in the name of Young India Trust to seize the assets of the National Herald newspaper. It is the duplicate Gandhi family that played roles beyond the movie Danaveerasura Karna. They are the directors of the National Herald newspaper and leaders of the Congress Party. They are the directors of the Young India Trust.

A case was filed in 2012 on the conspiracy angle of converting the newspaper’s assets into personal assets. The court issued notices on this in 2013. The CBI ordered an investigation. The accused, who are out on bail instead of arrest are Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.. What is the connection of the Modi government with that case?” he asked angrily.

He commented that 5,000 freedom fighters were shareholders of the National Herald newspaper and the Congress workers also have a share in those assets.

In this context, he suggested that all the Congress leaders should hold a dharna not in front of the ED office, but in front of the residence of Sonia Gandhi, who conspired to seize those assets.
He along with the BJP state vice-president Manohar Reddy, party secretaries S. Prakash Reddy, Umarani, official spokespersons Vitthal, Rani Rudramadevi, MLC candidate Gautam Rao, Yuva Morcha state president Mahender and others spoke to the media.

Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the Congress party was conspiring to mislead the people regarding the National Herald case. “The Congress leaders staged a dharna in Hyderabad on Thursday.

What should we think of the Congress leaders who spoke without respect for the Prime Minister and the Union Minister? The party’s State in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti should answer. Do you support the the comments they spoke?
The Congress party belongs to them.

The National Herald paper belongs to them, and the Young India Trust belongs to them. They gave 90 crores in the name of losses. They wanted to liquidate those assets by setting up a Young India Trust. The investigation of the case started during the UPA regime itself… They went to court and got bail What is Modi’s role in this? What is the connection with BJP,” he asked.
