Olympic silver medalist and world number six PV Sindhu will take on former world champion and second seed Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the Women’s Singles semifinal of Singapore Open today. Earlier, Sindhu defeated China’s Cai Yanyan 21-13, 17-21, 21-14 in the quarterfinal at the Singapore Indoor Stadium yesterday. In another quarterfinal match, Saina Nehwal lost to Japanese star shuttler Nozomi Okuhara 21-8, 21-13 yesterday.
