Politics in Telangana has once again become interesting. BRS party MLC Pochampalli Srinivas suffered a big shock on sensational cock fight issue case.
The Moinabad police had issued a fresh notice to him in connection with the conduct of the fights at his farmhouse. The notices asked him to appear before the police within four days.
MLC Srinivas is located in survey number 165/A of Tholkatta village in Moinabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad city. Rajendranagar police have arrested those who were playing races. A gang that was conducting the races has been taken into custody.
A total of 64 people were taken into custody. The organisers of the races Dhupathi Raju and Sivakumar were also along those who were arrested. The MLC has been named as an accused in the case.
The case has been registered against Pochampalli under Section 3 and the Gaming Act and Section 11 of the Animal Protection Act.
The SOT police recovered Rs 30 lakh in cash, 55 luxury cars, 86 betting hens, betting coins, solitary cards and 46 cock knives in the raid on the farm house.
