Prime Minister Narendra Modi will file his nominations from Varanasi constituency on Friday. Mr Modi is seeking the second term from Varanasi where polling will be held in the 7th and final phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 19.
Senior NDA leaders including JDU president Nitish Kumar, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, BJP ally Shiromani Akali Dal’s patron Parkash Singh Badal and Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan will also be in attendance when the PM files his nomination.
Leaders of AIADMK, Apna Dal and North-East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) will also be present during the nomination. Union ministers Sushma Swaraj, Piyush Goyal, JP Nadda and Nitin Gadkari are also likely to attend.
