Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called for the invention of new low-cost technologies for the help of farmers. He said we should also work for their ease of living. He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of 106th Indian Science Congress at Jalandhar today.
Mr Modi said, that our former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri had given the slogan Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and then Atal Bihar Vajpayee introduced Jai Vigyaan. Mr Modi said that our slogan is Jai Anusandhan.
He said the government has launched Atal innovation mission. PM Modi held an interactive session on ‘Future of Science in India’ with three Nobel laureates at Lovely Professional University.
