Finance Minister Piyush Goyal today presented Interim Budget 2019-20 in Lok Sabha. The Finance Minister said that the nation is moving towards realising dream of New India by 2022 and that the government has ensured foundation of sustainable progress for the people of the country. The Minister said government is committed to double farmers’ income by 2022.
He said MGNREGAscheme will get 60 thousand cr in Interim Budget. Mr. Goyal added that 1.53 Crore houses have been constructed under PradhanMantri Awas Yojana, five times than the earlier figure. The Minister added that under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, 10 lakh people have been benefitted already and that 22nd AIIMS will be opened in Haryana.
