The fuel prices continued to witness a downfall on Monday with petrol and diesel now being sold at Rs 79.75 and Rs 73.85 per litre in the national capital. Petrol and diesel witnessed a decrease of 30 and 20 paise respectively in Delhi as compared to the rates on October 28. After many months of unabated price rise across the country, petrol prices fall below Rs 80 per litre in Delhi today.
Fuel prices are on a decline for the last two weeks and continued to witness a downfall today on the 12th straight day. In Mumbai, petrol is now being sold at Rs 85.24 per litre, 30 paise lower than Sunday’s price and diesel at Rs 77.40 per litre, lower by 21 paise.
