People’s govt focused on education, health sectors: Bhatti

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has stated that the People’s government in the State is placing a significant emphasis on the education and health sectors, indicating its willingness to allocate any necessary funds for their advancement.

The Deputy Chief Minister served as the chief guest at the annual celebration of St. Francis Degree College for Women in Begumpet on Friday.

During his address, he remarked that investing in education would contribute to the development of human resources in the State, ultimately positioning Telangana as a global leader.

The government is undertaking the construction of Young India Integrated Schools to enhance the education sector and prepare students in Telangana to compete on an international level. Each school will be built on a land area of 20 to 25 acres, with an investment of Rs 200 crore allocated for each institution. He noted that approvals have already been granted for 60 schools, he said.

The Deputy Chief Minister further stated that If education is provided to a woman , it will not only benefit her, but also the entire family and the society at large.

Family system gives strength to the nation and that power to run the family system lies with the woman in the form of mother, wife and sister, Bhatti Vikramarka said.

“Keeping this in mind, the government has been extending all kinds of cooperation for the development of women. Funds are being allocated specially for women development and measures are being taken to give women ample opportunities in education and employment,” Bhatti Vikramarka said.

He said the State government is keen to transform women as entrepreneurs and as part of this objective, an action plan has been put into motion for involving women self help groups in generation of 1,000 MW solar power.

Moreover, the State government is extending interest free loans to the tune of Rs 20,000 crore per year and the Finance department will pay the interest on behalf of SHG women, he disclosed.
