OUTA MEETS VINOD KUMAR TO INCREASE RETIREMENT AGE TO 65 YEARS

A delegation of OUTA today appealed to the state government to increase their retirement age to65 years. The delegation called on Planning commission deputy chairman B Vinod Kumar and submitted a memorandum on their demands.

The delegation comprising professors and faculty have appealed that the government increase their retirement age to 65 years. 

Similar age limit was given to health wing professors and faculty and the same has to be considered.

The delegation urged that the demands be taken to the notice of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and agree for the same.

They informed that some vacancies are yet to be filled in the varisites and more teaching persons will be retiring soon. Since vacancies are to be filled to ensure smooth teaching the government can accede to our demands.

The planning deputy chairman said that the issue will be taken to the notice of the chief minister. The government will try to address  the demands of our faculty in the varsities he said. He also assured that the vacancies will be filled up by the government.
