Fifteen security personnel were martyred and a driver of a private vehicle killed in a high-intensity land-mine blast at Jambhulkheda, in Kurkheda taluka of Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district. State Minister for Finance and Forest, Sudhir Mungantiwar said the landmine was triggered by Naxals when the jawans were on their way to participate in the Maharashtra day ceremony. Police personnel from rapid action task force were travelling in a bus when it was blown up by the blast.
