MRPS demands CM to withhold job notifications until SC categorisation

TGPSC is releasing the results of various examinations in Telangana from today. The commission has released the list of provisional marks for group 1 exams.

The general rank cards for the Group 2 exams will be released on Tuesday. However, the founder president of MRPS Manda Krishna Madiga has demanded that all job test results should be withheld till the SC categorisation is done.

He was the chief guest at the relay hunger strike held at Indira Park on Monday under the aegis of MRPS. Krishna Madiga demanded that CM Revanth Reddy keep his earlier promise of applying SC categorisation benefit to previous job notifications.

He said the SC Classification Act (2000) was framed when Chandrababu was the Chief Minister of the united AP State. He said clause 4 had been inserted in the Act to make the principle of classification applicable to every job notification given earlier. He suggested that the Chief Minister of Telangana should now look into the act.

“Some people are spreading misinformation that it is not possible to take up the job placements as per the classification given earlier,” he said and added that if Revanth Reddy shows the honesty shown by Chandrababu in the past, every job notification classification would be implemented.

He said the anti-categorisation verdict was implemented at a fast pace and questioned as to why the obstacles were being put in place to implement the classification implementation judgment.
