Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy has dismissed the comments made by BRS President and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who suggested that by-elections in Telangana would occur in the near future.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Congress MP expressed his belief that by-elections are unlikely to take place over the next five years, labeling KCR’s assertions as unrealistic.
“KCR’s party lacks a significant presence even in local body elections. This is the reason behind his attempts to motivate the party’s cadre with such statements. If KCR were truly courageous, he would participate in the Assembly as the opposition leader to address the people’s issues, but he shows no genuine commitment to addressing these concerns,” Kiran Kumar Reddy stated.
