TRS MLC, and Telangana Jagruthi president, Kalvakuntla Kavitha today greeted people of the state on the occasion of Saddula Bathukamma.

She said that due to Corona pandemic people wear masks and follow its protocols. The flowers festival Bathukamma is celebrated known for harvest time. We see in social media that girls and women enjoy the festival songs. They show enthusiasm and interest to celebrate it and by following Corona norms, she said.
A large number of women used to gather and celebrate this festival reflecting our culture and traditions, she said. It is time that the songs of the festival are being watched online and YouTube, Kavitha said The city was hit by flash floods, and incessant rains causing heavy loss in the city and Crops in districts.
However the state government has released Rs 550 cr as immediate financial support to flood victims, she said. I appeal the women to celebrate it by following Corona protocols Kavitha said.
The MLC has prayed for speedy normalcy in the city as there is no rainfall now. The official machinery is working hard to address the flood issues she said. The city will get back to its business very soon, the MLC hoped.
