KCR made Palamuru district dry for ten years: CM Revanth

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the people of Palamuru had given a political life to BRS President and former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, but the latter made the district dry for ten years without any trust.

During a public meeting in Narayanpet district on Friday, the Chief Minister remarked that the people had granted KCR a ten-year chance, and if the Palamuru-Rangareddy project had been executed during that period, there would currently be no disputes with Andhra Pradesh. He claimed that KCR’s failures have become burdensome for the Palamuru district.

Revanth Reddy affirmed that the Palamuru Rangareddy project was launched by the prior Congress administration and assured that the current Congress government would strive to complete it as swiftly as possible.

The Chief Minister also noted that since assuming power, the Congress government has commenced work on the Maktal, Narayanpet, and Kodangal projects, demonstrating its dedication to finishing these initiatives within a specified timeframe.

“BRS leader Harish Rao served as a cabinet minister during the YSR government when additional water was diverted from the Krishna River via the Pothireddypadu project. Similarly, KCR was indifferent while the Muchumarri project was being built.

He urged KCR to confront his son KTR, who is accused of corruption in a car race, as well as his son-in-law Harish Rao, who allegedly misappropriated funds related to the Kaleshwaram project, and his daughter Kavitha, who has brought disgrace to Telangana due to the liquor scandal,” he claimed.

The Chief Minister noted that the Congress government has accomplished significant work in Telangana over the past year and expressed his willingness to engage in a public debate on the matter, inviting KCR to participate in a discussion in any village across Telangana.
