BRS party MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha today warned the ruling Congress party leaders of facing dire consequences if they continue to harass their party leaders. She said there was no need to be afraid of attacks on the offices and houses of the BRS party.
Addressing media persons at the BRS party office in Yadadri Bhonagiri district headquarters, she said the BRS party was a family of 60 lakh soldiers and added that the Congress leaders would not be in a position to move around if their party wanted to confront them.
She made it clear that the party workers would not be cowed down even if the ruling party leaders wanted to attack their party offices.
“It is a poor culture of attacking the party offices by wearing hats of rowdy mobs. BRS party has a culture of fighting for the people with words, wisdom and commitment,” she said and asked the State government as to who are responsible for the pollution of Musi river.
What did the Congress, which ruled the State for 60 years, do when industrial effluents were piling up in the Musi,” she asked. She claimed that former CM KCR had resolved to cleanse the Musi river. “As part of this, steps have been taken up.
He wanted to connect it with the Godavari river,” she said while recalling that the KCR government had set up 31 STPs for sewage treatment in the Musi river. She said KCR had made plans to resolve the issue permanently.
She alleged that the Congress leaders were trying to convert the Musi into an ATM. “It is not correct for the government to say that it will leave Kondapochamma Sagar near Hyderabad and connect Musi-Godavari from Mallanna Sagar which is far away.
Thousands of crores of public money wasted. The government is misusing ₹. 7,500 crore of public money. Why this new project when there is a possibility of a closure from Kondapochamma,” she asked.
She said the Congress government would take up the demolition of houses of the poor people in the name of closure and cleanliness.
She alleged that the Congress government was sending bulldozers to the homes of poor people. “Once again, the CM is saying that the cost of cleaning the bridge is Rs 50,000 crore and once again it is Rs 1 lakh crore, and once again it is Rs 1.5 lakh crore.
The plan is to send the money to Delhi and turn it into an ATM,” she alleged.
She also alleged that the CM had planned to send the money to Delhi. She demanded that the Congress government should complete the works started by former CM KCR in Yadadri district.
She suggested that the government should protect the glory of Yadadri and added that KCR had worked hard for the development of the combined Nalgonda district.
“KCR has resolved to eradicate the ghost of fluoride in the combined Nalgonda district. As part of this, drinking water was supplied to every household under mission Bhagiratha scheme.
KCR is credited with eliminating fluoride. The Congress party, which ruled the State for many years, has never thought of setting up a water plant,” she alleged.
