The Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh released the Intermediate Public examination timetable for the academic year 2018-19. HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced the timetable on Wednesday. To avoid confusion over dates and also to avoid leakages, the exams will be conducted simultaneously in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana from Feb 27 to March 18, the Minister added.
Intermediate’s Golden Jubilee celebrations will be held on December 3. CCTV cameras will be installed at exam centres State-wide and the invigilators will also be jumbled so that no one can take advantage, he said. Addressing the media on the occasion, the HRD Minister said that this year 10.6 lakh students will appear for the exams.
Both the first year and second year examinations will be held almost simultaneously in 2,800 centres State-wide. The practical examinations are scheduled to be held from February 1 to 20, 2019, for general Intermediate courses in jumbling system. The timetable for Telangana Intermediate examinations may be announced soon.
