Prominent religious guru and BJP leader Swami Paripoornananda on Sunday categorically said that renaming of Hyderabad and other prominent cities in the State would happen once the party is voted to power in Telangana after the December elections. Addressing the ‘Vijaya Sankalpa Shankharavam’ public meeting at Tandur in Vikarabad district, he said that the BJP targeted to achieve ‘Mission 70’ in the State.
He also said that they were in preparation of a special plan to reach schemes to the people with a door-to-door campaign at each village in the State. He called upon the party cadre to strive hard to achieve victory for BJP.
The religious guru, who has been engaged in public service for about two decades now, said he would focus on working for the party and not seek any post for himself. Paripoornananda had recently joined the BJP in the presence of its president Amit Shah and general secretary Ram Madhav.
