Govt working against people’s aspirations: BJLP leader Maheshwar Reddy

BJLP leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy today came down heavily on the Telangana government and alleged that it was working against the aspirations of the people while making it clear that the latest State cabinet decisions have disappointed the people of the State, especially the farmers.

Addressing media persons at the State party office here, he said the lack of clarity on the Rythu Bharosa scheme, the increase in pension and the government’s indifference to six guarantees were proof of the failure of the Congress government.

He opined that the cabinet decision was tantamount to digging a hill and catching a rat. He strongly criticised the government for not conducting an inquiry into the corrupt practices of the BRS government.

He pointed out that a “dupe flight” was going on between the two parties/the BRS and the Congress party in Telangana. He raised questions on the issue of crores of rupees changing hands in the Hetero pharmaceutical scam, civil supplies transactions scam.

Maheshwar Reddy said their fight was aimed at making people aware of all the corruption of the State government. He also said they would fight against the State government by highlighting public problems.
